First Day Training Module!

If you ever wanted to have a quick and simple introduction to health and safety for new employees, this is it!

We are delighted to announce the launch of the QLM online health and safety induction training.  This module is exclusively available to all clients of the PHSC plc Group.

Who is the training intended for?

The purpose of the DVD is to communicate key basic health and safety principles to new employees. It can also be used as a certificated refresher training module to existing employees.

This training module is ideal for any organisation who wants to provide a new employee with a certificated introduction to health and safety.  The module covers the principles of key health and safety responsibilities and issues to underpin site organisation specific training.  This training can be delivered on the new employee’s first day at work and requires no special qualification in health and safety to deliver it.

What does the training include?

The 20 minute training DVD and multiple choice questions cover many underpinning health and safety skills, including:

·Employee legal responsibilities for health and safety

·Employer legal responsibilities for health and safety

·Safe Systems of Work

·Emergencies and First Aid

·Hazardous Substances

·Electricity

·Lifting and Handling

·Work Equipment

·Safety Signs and Signals

How does it work?

·Purchase a licence key (stipulating the number of employees required) and copy of the DVD from QLM Ltd (contact details below). One licence key per organisation.

·You receive the licence key and a training DVD on employee health and safety. (The pack also comes with a free management training DVD on health and safety management).

·Employee watches the training DVD.

·Employee logs on using the access key, registers on-line and answers the 20 multiple choice questions.

·If necessary the process if repeated until a score of at least 90% is achieved.

·The organisation prints off the employee specific certificate of successful completion.
