ISRM National Pool Safety Award

QLM manages, on behalf of ISRM, this challenging award which recognises organisations who deliver a sound approach to swimming pool operation.

A mystery customer visit precedes the on-site assessment by a trained swimming pool specialist, who analyses the operation of the pool against two British Standards Institution publications, i.e. PAS39, management of public swimming pools-water treatment systems, water treatment plant and heating and ventilation systems and PAS65, management of public swimming pools - general management.

QLM Managing Director, Peter Mills was the lead author of PAS65 and has been a key participant in the provision of an assessment framework that promotes continual improvement in pool safety standards.
